He was strongly influenced by the books of Karl Marx, Vladimir Lenin, Frantz Fanon and Malcolm X. I chose Huey Percy Newton because I was interested in the work that he and Bobby Seal did for the Black Panther Party. The Black Panthers do simple,yet salient changes in the community of Oakland. They established costless checkup clinics, and gave apart clothes and food. These changes make the community stronger and more united.
